| RASHTRIA Lubricated
Taper Plug Valve has been successfully used in variety of services
because of its unique in line maintaince capability. The Plug
& Body seating surfaces,which are grinded and matched ,are not
exposed to the line fluid.Valves are impreganated with P.T.F.E.
which provides greater wear resistance and ensures low consistant
operating torque and at the same time reducing the need of lubrication.P.T.F.E.
also enhancs resistance to seizure. |

| OPERATION |
Class 150 Cast Carbon Steel
Lubricated Plug valves are supplied with square stems suitable
for wrench operation. Wrenches , as required , should however
be order seprately .Valve 6” to 10” offered with Light Gear
Units. As a standard , Cast Steel Lubricated Plug Valves are
supplied with 'RASHTRIA-300' sealent which is suitable for most
of services .On request Plug Sealent from a wide range offered
(See Lubricant Selections Guide).It is recomended
that you consult us before selecting the Valve for a new service. |

| End Connections
: These valves are conform to
BS 5353 , API 6D and API 599. Face to face dimentions of these
valves conform to BS 1414 for Class 150 Steel Wedge Gate Valves.
Flanges & drilling in accordance with BS. 1560 and with ANSI Specification
B. 16.5. Valvs are suplied with flanges drilled. NOTE : Valve
size 6 ” and above are not turned on edge and have some holes
tapped UNC tread on ANSI or BS.10 flanges . These require studs
of the same diameter as the bolts which they replace. |
