| Principal Features : |
| Plug Valve having taper plug which can be rotated inside the
valve body to control flow through the valve. The ports are
typically at opposite ends of the body ; therefore the plug is
rotated a fourth of a full turn to change from open to shut
positions. This makes plug valve a quarter turn valve. Lubricated
plug valves relay on a sealing compound injected between the
plug and the valve body. The sealant channels in the plug and
body seats provide lubrication which, together with the positive
rotary action of the tapered plug valve, protect the seating surfaces
against corrosion, erosion, or accumulation of solid deposits. |

  By Standard all Plug Valve are supplied with high phosphorus
ENP Treated plugs which Provides extremely low coefficient of friction, excellent corrosion resistance to enhance the life of
valves exposed to several conditions of services , particularly in the oil field, marine sector; paper industry. (Optional : ENP/ PTFE Composite, Hard Chrome Plated can be supplied on request.)The tapered plug is grinding and lapped individually with its
matching body, providing perfect seating contact..
Long-Life Stem Seals :
A variety of stem-seal materials provides maintenance-free
sealing that matches valve performance & ensures long life
and reliability. Multiple Gland ring packing in 1/ 2"-12"
(IS-300mm) valves provide a reliable seal that rarely
requires adjustment or replacement. |
