| DESIGN FEATURES

| i. Body and bonnet
bolted together with the help of 'U' bolt.Thus enabling easy maintaince. |
| ii. Streight through
flow with least possible pressure drop across the valves. |
| iii.Provision of 'Back
Seat' facilitating 'On Line' replacement of Gland Packing under
pressure when valve is full open. |
| iv. Brass Stem threaded externally
to rise in the bonnet and internally to actuate the rising gate,
thus resulting in quick opening of the gate. |
| v. Bronze seat rings
are fitted securely into the body, resulting an extremely tight
clousre between seat and wedge. |
| vi. Stem of the valve having
loose fitting threads to prevent stem freezing when valves are
used on sticky fluids. |
